Everyone had fun sharing jobs when it came to creating these wonderful cookies. Even if you weren’t an avid baker, these biscuits were easy to make and the bonding with brothers made it more enjoyable. The many batches of cookies will be donated to a local animal shelter.

Laser Tag was a Blast!

All those who went to laser tag had a blast! Brother against Brother against potential Brother in an epic battle to the death!...well not actually to the death, but we did shoot at each other to gain the most points. We all had a great time and played in the arcade afterward. It was a great bonding experience for all those involved and a fun excuse to act like a kid again.

RUSH Starts with a Bang

Video Game Night was hosted in Mancheski Hall at 4 p.m. on Saturday. Four brothers, an advisor, and some potential members showed up to the event. The president reinforced his duty by dominating in DDR and Street Fighter while the webmaster seemingly embarrassed himself. The RUSH chair found herself to be challenged with a mission of survival as he tried to deter a massive zombie invasion.

Though the turnout was small, the evening turned out to be fun and a good kick-off to RUSH.

Helping Hands Went off Without a Hitch

The community surrounding Quinnipiac University was greatly helped today as many students woke up early to participate in Helping Hands. Through the 12 different events participated in, such as a scavenger hunt with disabled children, helping St. Rae's, cleaning up a beach in Milford, and many more events, not only were many community members helped and the environment improved, but Quinnipiac University and its students were once again united with the surrounding community.

&nbsp

The events were not only helpful, but so much fun. C.A.P. did a wonderful job sponsoring the event and provided students with a wonderful breakfast and lunch. For those who participated, Thank You, and for those who couldn't make it, maybe we'll see you next year.

APO Rush Events Soon to Come

Alpha Phi Omega will be commencing its rush period very shortly. All scheduled events will be posted on the calender in the immediate future. If you are interested in rushing, check the calender periodically and make sure you come to some events!

<nbst></nbst>

We cannot wait to see some new and excited faces!

Quinnipiac Included in Princeton Review's 'Best 371 Colleges'

Quinnipiac is among the top colleges and universities in the U.S., according to the 2010 Princeton Review Guide.

The New York-based education services company known for its test-prep courses features the University in the 2010 edition of its annual book, "The Best 371 Colleges." The book includes two-page profiles of each school and student survey-based ranking lists of top 20 colleges in more than 60 categories.

"We commend Quinnipiac for its outstanding academics, which is the primary criteria for our choice of schools for the book," said Robert Franek, Princeton Review's vice president of publishing. "We also work to keep a wide representation of colleges in the book by region, size, selectivity and character. We make our choices based on institutional data we gather about schools, feedback from students attending them, and input from our staff who visit hundreds of colleges a year. We also value the opinions and suggestions of our 23-member National College Counselor Advisory Board, and independent college counselors we hear from yearlong."

The ranking lists in "The Best 371 Colleges" are based on The Princeton Review's survey of 122,000 students (about 325 per campus on average) attending the 371 colleges in the book. A college's appearance on these lists is attributable to a high consensus among its surveyed students about the subject. The 80-question survey asked students to rate their schools on several topics and report on their campus experiences at them. Ranking lists report the top 20 schools in categories that range from best professors, administration, and campus food to lists based on student body political leanings, race/class relations, sports interests, and other aspects of campus life.
